Next day there was James Birch’s Brigitte Bardot opening at Dadiani Fine Art on Cork Street but BB didn’t show up, sadly but not unexpected. The paparazzi, or is it paparazzo who took the pictures in the first place in 1968 was there; the legendary Ray Bellisario, Britain’s first pap.

Monday the 8th was Tate Summer Party; all the usual suspects were there; on to Soho afterwards –I vaguely remember the Groucho Club with Andrew Wilson, seen here with James.
